HS2 Crucial to Business Growth

Shevaun Haviland, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce said:

“The construction project itself will bring huge benefits to SMEs through the HS2 supply chain.

“While cost management is essential, HS2 must stay on track for businesses to invest and plan for the future.

“Ministers must also remain laser focused on delivering Northern Powerhouse Rail. The project will provide vital connectivity that can drive forward economic growth across large parts of the north.”
