What a fantastic venue to welcome attendees to for a summers evening of connection and friendly competition on the Bear Creek adventure mini golf course.
We always like to make sure our events offer something a little different. So, the opportunity for guests to connect whilst engaging in fun and friendly competition was perfect for a relaxed summer networking experience.
An August event was a first for our team, but it was also the first time our new CEO, Ruth Gilbert, experienced one of our popular networking events.

She may only be 6 weeks into the role, but Ruth has certainly hit the ground running, explaining to attendees that she’s been on a roadshow since starting, meeting as many patrons, members and partners as possible.
It’s been her mission to get out into our community to hear directly from businesses to understand exactly how best the Chambers can support them and form strong relationships.
She stressed how the whole Essex Chambers team is here to serve our members. Talk to us, use us, tell us what you need. We are your local accredited Chambers of Commerce, here to help Essex businesses connect, influence and grow.
Attendees also heard from Charlotte Tibaldi, Events Manager at Rivenhall. She gave an in-depth overview of all the fabulous facilities that would suit both a golfing pro or novice.

There are so many options for a business to make full use of the venue. From away days, client meetings, golf days, and awards evenings with each event bespoke to your individual event needs. Their team is friendly, professional, and receive amazing feedback from their clients.
Thank you to Charlotte and the whole team for their incredible hospitality and for making our attendees feel so welcome. A particular highlight was the delicious buffet. There was hardly anything left as plates were piled high before guests took on Bear Creek.
You could hear the enjoyment of the teams on the mini golf course from the other side of the car park. Players were placed into random teams, creating fantastic opportunities for the diverse range of industries to mingle and take on the challenges of the course together.
The charmingly themed course threw up some tricky obstacles for players. We’re not sure how many holes in ones were achieved but we did witness a few balls having to be fished out of the creek.
We’re delighted at how much of a success this event was. It was a pleasure to showcase Rivenhall Oaks Golf Course and all the incredible facilities available to enjoy on site.

If you would like to experience one of our premium networking events, including our next one with National Grid on 15 September, make sure to secure your place today.
