A Wonderful Evening of Networking at The Warren

Our Client Relationship Manager, Nick Brown, recently told guests at a networking event that, during his seven and a half years with Essex Chambers, he has occasionally arrived at an organisation and immediately sensed that it was a business that truly gets it. A company where staff are happy and welcoming, and where everything is delivered to an exceptionally high standard.

This was exactly the impression he had when he first visited The Warren Estate in Woodham Walter, and it was a pleasure to share that experience with our guests at a spectacular networking event.

Nestled in the heart of the Mid-Essex countryside, The Warren Estate is a unique and characterful venue. With beautiful event spaces dating back to the 1700s, stylish accommodation, golf courses, restaurants and leisure facilities, all set within 380 hectares of pristine countryside, it offers something truly special.

Our attendees were impressed from the moment they arrived, taking in the stunning historic surroundings of the converted barn before moving through to the cosy and welcoming lounge to enjoy a crisp glass of chilled wine, generously donated by our members at New Hall Vineyard.

Nick was on hand to welcome guests and share his experience of discovering The Warren for the first time. He also exclusively revealed that we will be returning to The Warren in 2027 as the venue for our next Annual Golf Day.

Guests were also treated to the dry wit and captivating stories of the venue’s Managing Director, Tim Spencer. He shared a brief history of the estate, as well as exciting plans for its future. When he first arrived, the business was primarily focused on weddings. However, with the support of his dedicated team, The Warren has worked hard to diversify its events offering, making full use of its versatile facilities to welcome and collaborate with the corporate community.

After enjoying a mouth-watering buffet, guests were invited to tour the estate and grounds, giving them a chance to experience everything The Warren has to offer. They also enjoyed some friendly competition, taking turns on the state-of-the-art golf simulator courtesy of Apex Golf.

The evening could not have been better. Even the weather played its part, with sunshine throughout despite a wet and windy start to the day.
