Join us for an exclusive Conflict Management Workshop led by the experienced professionals of the Essex Police Business Crime Team. Due to the success of running this session in the north of the county, we are delighted to be bringing it to our members in the south at our offices in the Launchpad.  

This workshop is designed to equip you with the essential skills and techniques to prevent, navigate and resolve conflicts in your working environment.

We understand that it can be difficult to work with customers and the public. Sometimes it’s difficult to avoid confrontation in the workplace and everyday situations can turn volatile extremely quickly.  This session is designed especially for public facing employees – ideal for those in the hospitality and service industry, especially as we approach the festive season.

This workshop will focus on:

• Communication methods.
• Barriers to effective communication.
• How your behaviour can influence the recipient's behaviour
• The Criminal Law Act and use of "Resonable Force" - this session will not look at physical restraint techniques. 
• What constitutes an "assault". 
• How to keep yourself safe.
