The £50 Business Challenge
1st April to 30th September 2020
Calling All Essex Based Businesses
Is your business up for a challenge? Well it’s this simple – Essex Chambers will give you £50 and you have to convert this into as much money as you can manage.
What does the Challenge involve?
We will make the initial investment of £50 and then it’s over to you to let your imaginations run wild, and your fundraising efforts run even wilder! You will have a period of 6 months commencing from the 1st April and finishing on the 30th September to raise as much money as you can. How you do this is up to you!
We ask that all fundraising events should be fun, legal, Health & Safety compliant, inclusive to all, and respecting the good name of the RGF at all times.

Soon after the closing date Denise Rossiter, CEO of Essex Chamber of Commerce will walk the length and breadth of Essex, to each participating business, to collect the funds you’ve so generously raised.
What's in it for you?
Essex Chambers will promote every business that takes part through our social media platforms, publications and press coverage.
Keep us updated of your fund raising plans and we will make sure Essex hears about it!
Where will the money raised go?
Our Charity of the Year is The Rob George Foundation which exists in memory of Rob, who died aged 21 in 2013, after a battle bravely fought against Leukaemia.

We want to assure you that none of the RGF’s trustees receive remuneration or any other financial benefit from their work with the Foundation and we would expect anyone raising funds for the RGF to adopt the same principle.
