We all see DP World London Gateway on the horizon as we travel through South Essex, but have you ever wanted a sneak peek at what this magnificent and vast port comprises of?
Essex Chambers are once again delighted to offer you a networking breakfast and coach tour of the port, giving you a chance to see this state-of-the-art operation. You will view the world’s largest ships being unloaded by cranes the same size as the London Eye and get an understanding about how this piece of infrastructure will continue to serve the UK and Essex efficiently in a post-Brexit world.
Located in Stanford-le-Hope, DP World London Gateway is one of the world’s fastest growing ports, connecting UK importers and exporters to more than 115 ports in over 60 different countries through its deep-sea container terminal and international rail head.
It is helping cargo owners deliver to markets more sustainably, with carbon footprint reducing, robotic equipment from a prime location right on the doorstep of the UK’s largest consumer market. UPS, Lidl, Dixons Carphone and more have already set up warehousing and distribution facilities on site – with even more growth to come.
Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
