Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Masterclass

AEO is an internationally recognised status developed by the World Trade Organisation (WTO). If you are involved in international supply chains then this masterclass is relevant to you in preparation for changes Brexit could bring.

This Masterclass will address the following –

  • What is AEO status?
  • How will it help me?
  • How can I get it?

Every question on the AEO application and questionnaire is explored with depth, explaining the expectation of HMRC in order to be successful in gaining the AEO status, and how to maintain this going forwards.

Attendees will learn how to put in place the necessary procedures, including management checks, and why they are essential.

We will also discuss the importance of;

  • Tariff Classification – demystification on how to classify your goods, explain the correct way to classify your goods but in simple terms.
  • Rules of Origin – why Origin matters on both goods coming in and out and where to find the rules.
  • Customs Valuation – what has to be declared to customs and why.
  • Border Controls – what is the future?
  • Customs Warehousing – what are the advantages?
  • Other Customs Special Procedures.

Review your supply chain and plan a strategy, stay ahead of your competitors and instil confidence in your customers.
