The Essex Chambers of Commerce is delighted to announce that we will be working with Open Road as our Nominated Charity of the Year for 2025/26. Throughout the year, the Chambers team will be committed to championing the charity and raising awareness and funds for them to continue the incredible work they do in our county.
As our nominated charity, Open Road will be able to engage with the Chambers’ diverse business network, raising awareness of their services and benefitting from a range of fundraising and promotional opportunities. This collaboration will provide a valuable platform for them to share their work and deepen connections within the Essex business community.
This partnership recognises the vital work Open Road carries out across Essex – supporting individuals affected by addiction, promoting recovery, and helping people rebuild their lives. Their mission to empower individuals, families, communities, and businesses to lead healthy, meaningful lives aligns closely with the Chambers’ own values of collaboration, support, and driving positive change.
Open Road delivers a range of life-changing services with a unique emphasis on business support, including their Wellbeing in the Workplace programme, which offers bespoke support for employers seeking to prioritise the health and wellbeing of their staff. Services include drug testing, policy development, awareness sessions, and manager training – empowering businesses to strike the right balance between employee wellbeing and operational responsibility.
