We were delighted to be joined at the fabulous Mercury Theatre to celebrate the launch of our Chamber Charity network on 11 February.

This group will meet on a recurring basis, bringing together our charity members to empower them through lasting relationships, knowledge sharing, and best practice ideas, with a focus on strengthening the business and operational side of the charity sector.

A huge thank you to the team at the Mercury Theatre for hosting us, and to Steve Mannix, CEO, for sharing his successes and challenges at the theatre.

Our thanks also go to Saffron Building Society for their support in bringing this event to life.

We were pleased to welcome Colin Field, CEO, and Russell Smith, Retail Business Development Manager, who shared valuable insights into how Saffron supports charities through its services and community engagement.

We’re excited to see this group grow and to continue championing the Essex charity sector as it navigates its unique opportunities and challenges.
