It was a pleasure to close our 2025 physical events programme at the stunning Braxted Park Estate. Attendees joined us bright and early to celebrate the successes of the past year and look ahead to the opportunities a new one will bring.
Nestled in the heart of the Essex countryside, Braxted Park Estate has been a proud Member of the Essex Chambers for 20 years. We were delighted to welcome our business community into their elegant Orangery for a festive morning of conversation, connection, and collaboration.

Once everyone had enjoyed a delicious breakfast, our CEO, Denise Rossiter, opened the morning’s remarks. She reflected on an exceptional year with our members, from standout events such as the Festival of Business, to valuable political engagement, as well as the continued growth and strengthening of our member community.
Before introducing Alex Rayner, Events CEO at Braxted Park, Denise reaffirmed the Essex Chambers’ commitment to collaboration, trust, and integrity, reminding attendees that we are here to support them whenever they need us.
Alex, as engaging as ever, delivered an insightful and entertaining history of the estate, along with an overview of the impressive facilities available. Braxted Park remains a proudly family-owned business with deep roots in corporate hospitality.

The morning also offered the perfect platform for Alex to share an exclusive announcement: the estate has been developing a new, fully sustainable event space, The Old Pavilion, set to open in May 2026.
A shared theme throughout both Denise and Alex’s remarks was that while times may be challenging, business knows no boundaries. By supporting one another, we can create a stronger, more resilient commercial landscape for all.
This spirit of community was perfectly demonstrated during the draw of our Christmas Prize Raffle, held in support of our nominated charity of the year, Open Road. The raffle completely sold out, raising an incredible £1,000 for a charity that does so much to support others. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone who took part.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has attended our events this year. We hope our 2025 programme has inspired growth, prosperity, and meaningful collaboration across our membership.
As we look to 2026, an exciting calendar of networking opportunities awaits—including AI Can Change Your Life – Network with Rathbones on Thursday 29 January at The Magic Mushroom. For more information and a preview of what’s in store, please visit our website.
From all of us at the Essex Chambers of Commerce, we wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.
