Business Networking

Very pleased to meet you.

At Essex Chambers of Commerce we recognise that Networking is one of the most effective ways to make valuable business contacts. Because we believe so strongly in the potential power of networking we have devoted much time and energy to developing what we believe to be the best linked networking groups in Essex. This includes evergreen star performers such as Networking on Sea, the e-Business Club and the Network of Women.

We ensure that our branded networking events are regular, relevant and reliable and above all that they are focussed on the need of business. Whether your aim is to make new connections, to keep up to speed with developments or simply to get out more and meet friendly, like-minded people you will find that Essex Chambers of Commerce has a business network group to suit you.

Networking on Sea

This network group is probably the most innovative and distinctive ever created in Essex. Since its inception in 2003, which was inspired and led by Chambers' Operations Director Denise Rossiter, Networking on Sea has set the standard for business networking throughout the county. The group attracts a general membership and meets most frequently in the vicinity of Southend.*

Networking Luncheons

Chambers organised monthly lunches form the backbone of regular networking events around the County. Focussed on the current business hubs of Chelmsford, Southend, Colchester and Basildon lunch events provide a dignified and relaxed means of meeting like-minded people and making new business contacts. Chambers lunches are always held at convenient locations and can be sponsored by member organisations looking for a promotional opportunity.*

Business Breakfasts

Always a popular and convenient time of day to focus on local and business issues around the County. Chambers breakfast events provide an enjoyable and productive networking opportunity.*

The Network of Women

NOW, better know as the Network of Women, is another ‘signature' innovation from Chambers' Director Denise Rossiter. As the name suggests NOW is specifically designed to support the business-women of Essex and to encourage female entrepreneurs generally - without doubt a topic close to Denise's heart.*

The e-Business Club

With technology, digital marketing and digital communication all playing such a prominent role in the destiny of modern business, the value of a network group which is focussed on such issues is not difficult to see. Originated for the exclusive benefit of Chambers Members by Chief Executive John Clayton, the e-Business Club meets regularly at venues throughout the county.*
