Good friends in high places
Undeniably it is the Member's themselves who form the backbone of Essex Chambers of Commerce. Their enterprise and skills make the Chambers all that it is today. But there is an additional strand that helps make us even stronger and more influential.
Since its inception in 2005 The Patron Scheme has successfully encouraged a closer relationship between Essex Chambers of Commerce and a select number of prolific Essex companies who commit to regular sponsorship of Chambers activities and events. The most recent recruit is c2c rail. They join a list of luminaries that includes BAA Stansted, Opal Telecom and Essex & Suffolk Water. The regular involvement of these companies has helped ensure that a highly ambitious calendar of Chambers events is achieved regularly on behalf of Members.
Patron Benefits
Any organisation interested in joining the Essex Chambers of Commerce Patron Scheme should initially contact Managing Director Denise Rossiter for an update of the most recent benefits and to discuss what the Scheme can deliver.
While specific and individual arrangements will vary, all Patrons can expect: expert event organisation, planning and implementation; promotion opportunities among Chambers Members and preferential promotional opportunities in Chambers publications, at Chambers events and on the Chambers website. Annual Patron packages can be individually tailored to suit all needs. For example, some current Patrons have requested Chambers support in staging stakeholder events such as business breakfasts or private, select dinners, while others have made good use of the Chambers for opinion poll and research purposes.
