With workplaces and offices slowly reopening, South Essex train operator c2c is welcoming back its customers with a reminder that its pioneering Flexi-Season ticket offers the best value option for people who split their working week between home and the office.
Launched in 2016, c2c’s Flexi-Season is a digital bundle of 10 individual tickets which passengers buy once but only use when they wish to travel. Loaded onto their c2c Smartcard. Flexi-Seasons offer customers similar savings to a Season ticket. Sold online the Flexi-Season eliminates any need to queue for tickets in the morning and reduces the level of contact required with other people when travelling by train.
c2c Commercial director Clare McCaffrey said: “In these uncertain times and with work patterns changing so much, we are ready to welcome back our customers with a product that offers flexibility and a contactless way of travelling. Our Flexi-Season ticket provides the best value for part-time commuters and is ideal for those who are gradually returning to the office following the Coronavirus pandemic.”
c2c has also signed up to National Rail’s UK-wide “Travel with Confidence’ pledge. This means we are maximising the space available by running every train with at least 8-carriages, and increasing cleaning levels at our trains and stations.
