Speaking about the event Denise Rossiter, Chief Executive of Essex Chambers of Commerce, said: “I was delighted to be asked by Basildon Council to work with them to deliver Basildon Business Expo 2018. The inaugural event attracted a lot of interest from exhibitors and visitors alike and we received some really positive feedback afterwards. We expect stalls to sell quickly so urge anyone interested to get in touch with us as soon as possible”
Cllr Andrew Schrader, Basildon Council’s Chairman of the Economic Development and Growth Committee, added: “Over the last few months I have been meeting with representatives of businesses in the borough of all sizes and hearing about their successes and challenges. The Basildon Business Expo is the largest event of its kind in the borough and a chance for us all to have that conversation with each other – as well as the opportunity to showcase what our businesses do and offer.
“I know that transport links are a hot topic so I’m really looking forward to the business reception that will enable businesses to engage with an influential panel on a range of key business issues that affects Basildon and the south Essex economy – including the proposals for the Lower Thames Crossing.”
