Virtual Export Documentation - BCC Accredited

This virtual half day course will provide you with an understanding of Export documentation.

Join us for an overview of the documents used at every stage of the export process that businesses need to be aware of in order to be successful and compliant.

By the end of the course attendees will be able to:

  • Understand the basic requirements for export documentation and your export customs declaration
  • Understand which documents are necessary for an international shipment
  • Consider the requirements of a Commercial Invoice
  • Consider Incoterms; who pays for freight and who takes the risk
  • Have an awareness of compliance issues around exporting
  • Understand the UK trade tariff and its importance
  • Understand when and how to raise Preference Documents
  • Understand the documents for each mode of transport
  • Consider the reasons for accurate export documentation and where to get help
  • Have an awareness of dealing with Customs Intermediaries/Freight Agents/Express Fast Parcel Operators
  • Understand the importance of adequate Proof of export 
  • Consider the reasons for accurate export documentation and where to get help
