Improving your Twitter/X Skills

Wednesday 26th June 2024
10:00am - 12:00pm

Twitter, or X as it is now known, is one of the hardest social media platforms to master.

Used correctly, it can bring eyeballs, prestige and ultimately new connections and sales to your business.

On the other hand, when things go wrong, it can lead to reputational damage.

Despite all the issues that have come with Elon Musk’s ownership, X’s userbase and daily engagement has reached record highs in 2023. Around 20 million people and businesses in the UK now have an account.

But how do you master Twitter/X and what are the alternatives should Musk and the new management team eventually push people away?

Not many of us have the budget to hire dedicated staff or third-party agencies to manage this for us – so practical knowledge and skills are vital when we have limited time and resources.

Join us for this informative and practical training workshop from our social media partners SRX Consultancy. They will deliver an overview of how to best utilise Twitter/X for your organisation.

The workshop will be tailored to meet the needs of the group but is likely to cover the following areas:

  • Why Twitter/X and social media are so important
  • Explaining posts, threads, replies, RTs, QTs and hashtags
  • Building Twitter followers for your business
  • How to create compelling and engaging posts
  • Making the most of Twitter’s features
  • Using Twitter Trends for news, ideas and leads
  • What to talk about, and how to hit the right tone
  • How to engage and NOT engage with others on Twitter
  • How to schedule posts in advance
  • A look at Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and other Twitter alternatives
  • A chance to share your own experiences and learn from others

Our social media workshops are popular, and places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

To make this workshop as bespoke as possible we will ask you a few short questions once you register to help us understand your exact training needs.
