Bookings for this event have now closed.

On the 1st January 2021 the United Kingdom left the European Union fully as the ‘transition period’ came to end. The Trade agreement that was reached gives organisations some breathing room to allow data to continue to flow between the UK-EU. However, there are some things that have changed and some things that are changing during the course of 2021 that organisations need to be aware of.
During this session we will explore what organisations are required to do now that we have left the EU including what Data Protection in the UK now looks like (the UK GDPR for example), where they can get additional resources and support.
By the end of this session, you will have an understanding of;
- UK GDPR and its obligations into 2021 and beyond
- Practical advice for scoping if the changes affect your organisation
- Requirements for transferring data from the EU to the UK
- Requirements for transferring data from the UK to the EU
- Requirements for transferring data from the UK to anywhere else in the world
