Contracts across the Public Sector are awarded upon appropriate completion of the official tendering process, which can present a daunting and sometimes complex hurdle for the uninitiated. Success is more likely if the applicant is either expert or can obtain the support of experts. Recognising this, Essex Chambers of Commerce has formed Tenderforce - a team of contract tendering professionals who will help to spearhead the county's drive for success. Tenderforce will operate through Essex Chambers and will be available to Chambers Members and non-members alike, though the former will benefit from an enhanced value package.
Tenderforce is a one-stop-shop that can guide you at any or every step of the way throughout the tendering process. This applies to UK and European tender opportunities. All aspects of the procurement process are covered, from providing alerts of forthcoming tender opportunities; ensuring that applicant businesses are appropriately ‘business ready' and supporting the completion of the tender itself. The service is broken down into a clear menu of options from which you can select according to your own preferences.

Tenderforce services at a glance
1) ANALYSIS BY PHONE
Initial conversation to discuss your objectives and to explore how Tenderforce can best meet your needs. At this stage we will send you a brief questionnaire to assess your "Business Ready Status".
2) BUSINESS READY REGISTRATION AUDIT
Discuss the tendering process and complete the Business Ready Questionnaire. Also review what is required for accreditation and begin to consider the needs of the presentation.
3) DAILY MONITORING SERVICE
For an annual subscription Tenderforce will monitor and track multiple sources of contract tendering opportunities and alert you via a monthly 'market intelligence' report.
4) ACCREDITATION
Review the aspects of your Accreditation Application and identify any potential obstacles - for example Health and Safety standards, Quality standards or Company Policies - which might require enhancing to increase your opportunity.
5) PRE-QUALIFICATION
At this stage we would refer suitable tendering opportunities and guide you to request a pre-qualification questionnaire. We would assist you in completing, collating and returning the questionnaire and in monitoring the time-limitations.
6) INVITATION TO TENDER
Tenderforce will help you to assess the Invitation to Tender document and advise you how to handle a site visit. We would also assist you in completing, collating and returning the Invitation to Tender document and in creating your tender presentation.
7) PRESENTATION STRATEGY
We can support you in planning your presentation strategy and, if required, we will also attend the presentation alongside you and even co-deliver it with you if you prefer. Following the presentation we will monitor the results.
