Tips for snow proofing your business

Ensure that your work phone numbers can be diverted to a mobile for home working.

Ensure Staff directory of contact numbers is kept off site

Important contact numbers are kept in a directory off site

If you are not able to get into the office for call diverting and are a BT customer, please contact BT who can do this remotely for you.

To divert BT Business line, call 0800 800 156 (business faults department). Business customers get 1 free call divert a year, charges apply thereafter. When the divert for the line needs to be removed call the above number to set it back.
(BT landline numbers can get their calls diverted by calling 0800 800 151).

Driving in Winter Conditions particularly when in or expecting snow.

1.    Ensure sufficient fuel

2.    Ensure tyres in good condition

3.    Take warm clothes with you.

4.    Take a hot drink with you.

5.    Ensure your windscreen is clean and washer filed up

6.    Keep an even speed

7.    Try and remain in the same gear.

8.    Keep braking and gear changing to a minimum

9.    Have a mobile phone and in car charger with you

10. Have someone keep a check on your progress
